People want to explore mountains, and wanderlust is an inherent nature of human beings. Since social media has taken over our society, traveling to various places has become not just a necessity but also a social status. However, amidst this travel frenzy, many things happen that can serve as lessons or warnings for future generations.

"Pahadinama" is an original play written by Neha Bahuguna that uses humor and satire to present a fresh perspective on travel, tourism, and mountain-related lifestyle. It revolves around four mountain-loving friends who are invited to a tourism fair by the Tourism Department. While their journey doesn`t begin immediately, they share their interesting travel anecdotes at a small tea shop while waiting for the bus. Through their stories, the play sheds light on the beliefs of mountain-dwellers, mountain journeys, the changing times, and the local and contemporary perspectives on water, forests, and land.

These stories will be presented in a humorous manner so that the audience can easily connect with the play despite dealing with serious topics. Each story in the play features a Garhwali song carefully chosen to complement the emotions of the narrative, allowing the audience to experience the essence of the mountain language.
