URUVAM: Folk & Contemporary Movement Practice
About This Event
URUVAM is a folk and contemporary movement practice led by Junafar Juno, exploring how the body is shaped by rhythm, culture, and memory. The sessions bridge traditional Tamil folk vocabularies with contemporary movement techniques through grounded footwork, flow, floor work, rhythm exploration, and embodied awareness. Open to beginners and intermediate movers, no prior dance experience is required. The classes are held at Shoonya, Lalbagh, every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
